The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has recovered ten more stolen manhole covers in Abuja, bringing the total number recovered to 125.
this latest recovery, made in the Dei-Dei suburb, underscores the Command’s ongoing efforts to combat infrastructure vandalism in the nation’s capital(abuja). The stolen covers were discovered hidden in a pit, following a tip-off from a concerned resident.

This success comes on the heels of a significant operation last week, where the FCT Police, working with the Joint Task Force (JTF) established by FCT Minister Barr Nyesom Wike, intercepted and recovered numerous stolen public assets. These combined efforts demonstrate the police’s commitment to protecting public infrastructure and holding those responsible for its theft accountable.
