Honorable Festus Ashima, Chairman of the Warri North Local Government Council, has achieved another milestone with the construction of lock-up stores and open stalls in the Koko Community Market.
This project marks a significant step forward in his administration’s ongoing efforts to improve the lives of Warri North residents.Since taking office, Chairman Ashima has consistently demonstrated his commitment to progressive governance through numerous developmental projects.
The market upgrade is a prime example of this dedication.Previously, market vendors in Koko relied on makeshift wooden stalls and caravan-like shops, often placed along the road. This arrangement created traffic congestion and hindered pedestrian movement, particularly on Tuesdays, the market’s designated market day.
The construction of the new stores has been widely applauded by community members, especially the market men and women, who appreciate Chairman Ashima’s responsiveness to their needs.
During a recent visit to the market, worker were putting finishing touches on the project, and vendors were eagerly inquiring about the commissioning date.
Not up to 2 months ago he commissioned 6 unit of bedroom flats at oboghoro, well furnished with 24hours solar power supply, this enthusiasm underscores the positive impact of Chairman Ashima’s work and his commitment to serving the people.
Chairman Ashima’s leadership reflects the “MORE Agenda” of Delta State Governor, Rt. Honourable Sheriff Oborevwori, as his administration prioritizes meeting the needs of the Warri North community.
