
Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Wednesday, called on elected and appointed public office holders in the state to always put interest of the people above self in the discharge of their duties.
Governor Oborevwori Urges Public Servants to Prioritize Public Interest, Emphasizes Role of Faith in Governance During a meeting with the new executive of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) Delta State Chapter, led by Bishop Abos Willie, at Government House, Asaba, Governor Oborevwori emphasized the importance of prioritizing public interest over personal gain for those in positions of authority.

The Governor attributed the successes achieved by his administration in the past 19 months to divine guidance and God’s providence. He pledged to continue to prioritize faith in his governance of the state.
Oborevwori highlighted that the lack of fear of God often leads public officials to prioritize their own interests over the collective well-being of the people.
He congratulated the newly elected PFN executive and expressed his commitment to collaborating with them to advance the “M.O.R.E.” agenda of his administration.
