
Five primary school heads in Delta State have been suspended by the state government for engaging in extortion and collecting unauthorized levies from students. The affected school heads are from various local government areas across the state.

The suspended officials are:
- Mrs. Ajeh B. O (Asamata Primary School, Ugiliamai, Ndokwa)
- Mr. Uboh I. Joseph (Morka Primary School, Obiaruku, Ukwani LGA)
- Mrs. Okpakogborho Grace (Abraka Model Primary School, Abraka, Ethiope East)
- Mrs. David Uzeze (Ekrejeta Primary School, Abraka, Ethiope East)
- Mrs. Otuedor Lydia (Orogun Primary School, Orogun, Ughelli North)
The suspension was announced in a press statement issued by Theresa Adiabu, Director of Public Communication and Functioning Permanent Secretary of the State Ministry of Information.
